Now Deposit Money in ATMs Through UPI, Check Limits

New Delhi: New inventions are happening in technology in the country, which also affects the common people. Since the beginning of September, the Reserve Bank of India has announced about the new facility. Facility to deposit money through ATM machines (Cash Deposit Machines) has been provided through Unified Payments Interface (UPI). This new facility UPI Interpol Cash Deposit (UPI-ICD) was unveiled by the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank T Ravi Shankar. Meanwhile, some changes have been made in the limit of depositing money of some banks.

If your PAN card is not linked to your bank account, then the limit of deposit amount will be different. Automated Deposit cum Withdrawal Machine (ADWM-Automated Deposit cum Withdrawal Machine) is a type of ATM. Cash money can be deposited and withdrawn through this machine. Customers can deposit money in a few minutes by going to the ADWM of their branch instead of going to the bank. Now, changes have been made in the limits of many banks for depositing money.

Punjab National Bank

Customers of Punjab National Bank can deposit a maximum of Rs. 1,00,000 or a maximum of 200 notes in a day through Automated Deposit Cum With Drawal Machine. One can deposit Rs. 1 lakh only if the PAN number is linked to the bank account. If the PAN is not linked, the account holder will be able to deposit a maximum of Rs. 49,900 only.

Union Bank of India

Customers of Union Bank of India can deposit a maximum of 200 notes through Automated Deposit Cum With Drawal Machine. One can deposit Rs. 1,00,000 if the PAN number is linked to the bank account and Rs. 49,999 if it is not linked.

State Bank of India

State Bank of India customers can deposit up to Rs 49,900 in a day through Automated Deposit Cum With Drawal Machine. Facility has been provided to deposit up to Rs 2 lakh through debit card. Along with this, money can also be deposited in Public Provident Fund (PPF), RD and loan accounts from here.

State Bank of India customers can also deposit a maximum of 200 notes in a day through Automated Deposit Cum With Drawal Machine. Customers will be able to deposit money only through Rs 100, 200, 500 or 2,000 notes. Automated Deposit Cum With Drawal Machine will not accept Rs 10, 20 and 50 notes.
