The executive committee of the Film Federation of India, the parent body of the all the leading film associations of India, in its managing committee meeting has announced the opening of applications for receiving the films for India’s entry to Oscars this year.
The entries for the submission of films will be open from 15th August thru 10th September at 6.00 p.m. The FFI will nominate a CHAIRMAN OF THE JURY along with senior qualified people from creative field who will be part of the jury. The final entry will be decided by a vote after all the screenings are done and will be announced on 27th September’ 2024.
Mr. Kottarakara said, India is marching towards another amazing year in the movies and entertainment space and we are proud that Indian movies are making a mark at various international platforms including the prestigious Oscars.
“The FFI will provide all the help to the producers to have a smooth, democratic and transparent nomination process”
“We welcome more and more films to participate in the run to get nominated as India’s entry into Oscars this year” said Mr. Kottarakara.
