Dr. Samrat Kumar Mukherjee has successfully defended his Ph.D thesis in Management Studies from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT) under Sikkim Manipal University (SMU).
The title of his thesis is ‘Impact of Social Media Promotion on Patent Behaviour: A Study in Kolkata, India.’ The research was carried out under the supervision of Dr. Jitendra Kumar, Associate Professor of Management Studies, SMIT, informs a press release.
Dr. Samrat Kumar Mukherjee has published many papers in different renowned national and international journals. He is currently working as an assistant professor (Grade I) at SMIT, SMU. Prior to joining SMIT, he worked for four years in the department of Management Studies at a college affiliated with MAKAUT.
His educational background comprises a BTECH and an MBA from West Bengal’s Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. His areas of expertise include marketing, project management, and human resources.
The Doctor of Philosophy will be awarded to him during the forthcoming convocation of Sikkim Manipal University, the release mentions.
