The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 7.5 on the Richter scale in Chile. It is believed to be a moderate intensity tremor. No casualties have been reported in this earthquake. At the same time, about 12 hours after the earthquake in Chile, tremors were felt in Faizabad, Afghanistan on Monday morning. According to the information received from the National Center for Seismology, this earthquake occurred at 12.10 pm in the direction of 93 km southeast of Faizabad. Its intensity was measured at 4.4 on the Richter scale, which is considered mild. There was no loss of life or property due to the earthquake in Afghanistan.
112 km depth earthquake in Chile
Scientists at the German Research Center for Geosciences (JFZ) said that on the night of July 9, a 5.5-magnitude earthquake occurred in the Chile-Argentina region. According to JFZ, the earthquake was at a depth of 112 km. Chile’s administration has not informed about any injury or damage of any kind.
180 km depth earthquake in Afghanistan
Along with Chile, tremors were also felt in Afghanistan. At a gap of about 12 hours, people’s sleep was broken due to light tremors of earthquake in Afghanistan and those who felt this tremor had also come out of their homes. The earthquake had an impact at a depth of about 180 km. In such a situation, there is no information about anyone’s injuries so far.
